| Description | The student epresentatives of the young Czech geographes made a success in Köln (Germany), namely Hana Pařízková from Gymnasium Velké Mezirící has got a gold medal, Petr Kolařík of Gymnasium Uherské Hradiště a silver one, Bruno Juraško of Prague just missed the bronze medal, also well has done Petr Kolařík of Cheb Gymnasium. The program of competition included the following tasks: written test, field work and multimedia test, as well as social and cognitive actions: intercultural evening, four different tours, a Cologne seightseeing tour, participation in the opening ceremony of the IGU Congress and private ceremonies iGeo 2012. In addition to official tours, the Czech team was awarded after the official program, the special 4-day geographic sightseeing tour of the middle Rhine region. |
