Description | The present paper deals with legal regulation of telework performed by an employee for his employer. It examines EU law concerning telework, especially the Framework Agreement on Telework signed by ETUC, UNICE/UEAPME and CEEP in 2002 as the first European agreement put in place by the social partners themselves. This Framework agreement states standards for protection of teleworkers employed in the EU. Because of the deadline for its implementation in the Member States, the national law of the Czech Republic is examined. Compliance or non-compliance with EU law and possible difficulties impeding the application of legal standards relating to telework are discussed in more details. |
