| Description | The chapter discusses the importance of sense of belonging into the society among young people. Minority groups, however, experience various forms of social exclusion and employ different coping strategies. Ethnic identity, that is the importance of one's origin, acceptance of the culture and norms of the ethnic group, can play an important role in the coping with the effects of social exclusion. |
