Description The chapter deals with the results of a research study realized in six European countries within the framework of the DysTEFL project. Study programmes in pre-service and in-service education of English language teachers were analyzed as well as relevant legislative and curricular documents. A questionnaire survey was carried out among English teachers and teacher trainees who work with dyslexic learners, the aim of which was to identify the respondents’ needs and preferences in terms of pre-service and in-service education in the area of teaching English to dyslexic learners.
