Description | The authors introduce the activity of playing traditional West African drums as a form of informal inclusive education of young hearing, deaf and deafblind people. In the past few years, the djembe and other traditional West African rhythm instruments, as well as West African folklore, have created interest in many Czech people. The authors look at the general background for realization, goals, work methods and progress of the project. They also look at its results, including limitations and the authors welcome specific suggestions for improvement. |
