| Description | The monograph deals with the development of basic groups of anthroponyms (Christian names, complementary anthroponyms, surnames, hypocoristic forms of names and nicknames) in the Czech lands during the years 1000 – 2010. Attention is paid mainly to anthroponyms of the Czech inhabitants; the monograph follows the development of these anthroponyms on the territory settled by the Czech majority, taking into consideration and respecting also the fact that the German-speaking minority as well as the relatively large Jewish community were a significant part of the inhabitants of the Czech lands. |
