Description | Social services are the products of the society's activities, which are focused on satisfying of the needs of individuals and collectives that are carried out otherwise than by transfer of material goods. Through social services, we help individuals, groups and communities to achieve a maximum degree of social, mental and physical well-being. The aim of social services is to help in social relationships and in improving the level of quality of life of all citizens without distinction, which is expressed in the official state social policy. Social services are provided under different conditions and in different facilities of social services. Specifically we refer to the current transformation of residential facilities, which to some extent segregates individuals with disabilities or other handicaps in comparison to intact population and integration or inclusion of individuals to the intact society? The question is what is better for them and for society. However, simultaneously with the development of human society our care and services to individuals with disabilities. |
