| Description | In this contribution I briefly described the characteristics of the romance language spoken in Hispania in Late Antiquity and during the reign of the Visigoths. Subsequently I concentrated on the germanic elements in this visigothic romance, especially in the field of proper names. I analyzed the names known from the inscriptions on slate panels proceeding from Iberian Peninsula and drawn a summary statistic on the subject. |
