| Description | In the paper we examine the issue of research of ancient texts. The linguistic research on medieval texts involves some difficulties. First, it requires knowledge of paleography, because it is necessary to compare the original text with its modern transcription in Latin characters. Furthermore, the manuscript of scribes is characterized by individual specifics and the brachyografic. Moreover, it is time-consuming, because the texts can be studied only on-site in the library or archive. |
