| Description | The chapter describes the basic sources of physical geographical data suitable for use in emergency managementin the Czech Republic. The procedure for their usage in various stages of crisis management has been analyzed. The example of a toxic accident on the road has been demonstrates as the procedure based on application of various data sources for specific purposes in dealing with the situation. |
