Description | Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) was utilized for the analysis of the fish scales and the otoliths collected from two species of fish perch (Perca fluviatilis) and bream (Abramis brama). We gained the average amount of selected elements in the scales by decomposition in the mineralization equipment and following ICP-MS analyses. Laser Ablation (LA) in conjunction with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) was used for the direct analysis of the solid samples of fish scales and otoliths. |
