| Description | Patočka's conception of human being stems from the integrity of man with nature, history and culture. It is also essentially related to a metaphysical level, i.e., something transcending the reality of this world. Metaphysics, for Patočka, is a way of objective comprehension of the world as well as action, humanly free way of life. Patočka's formulations of the problem in 1946 are also inspired by Masaryk's ideas. |
