| Description | The chapter describes and analyses the elections to the upper chamber of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the Senate. The main goal is to outline a typology of electoral districts and asses the competitiveness of each district based on the effective number of candidates. The results of the analysis are presented via cartographic presentation as well as description of long-term trends. |
