| Description | Diploma thesis focuses frequently discussed topic of stereopsis. The theoretical part deals with physiological conditions of stereopsis (Binocular Single Vision, Panum area, horopter and retinal correspondence) and historic and phylogenetic aspects of stereopsis, monocular and binocular steropsis and parameters of stereoscopic vision. The paper further describes the general principle how stereotests work and their variants. The theoretical part also complements a list of disorders affecting the quality of steropsis. The aim of the research is to determine the quality of stereoscopic vision in the population. |
