Description | This study is concerned with the role of textbooks in the process of implementation of curricular reform. Using the example of selected learning task in geography textboks, the authors seek to establish whether these tasks provide an opportunity for the development and achievement of the expected outcomes defined in the Czech Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education (RVP ZV).The research sample consisted of 399 learning tasks from three current Czech lower secondary geography textbooks. The main method was content analysis involving assessment of the coherence between the RVP ZV and the textbooks. |
