Description | Discussion presentation considers the unsatisfactory supply on (psychological) assessment tools for routine screening in the work of teachers. Individual approach to pupils in schools proclaimed from the beginning of the 90th years. At present, the level of (psychology) assessment in teaching practice demonstrable only in specific subpopulations of students in the form of guidelines published by Czech Department of Eduaction. Assessment is still seen rather as an activity of psychologists and special educators or as an activity taking away time for their own learning. Reflection involves several issues: (a) What do we know about "normal student" in the basic school? How is the diagnosis of the study specifics? (b) Who is responsible for diagnosing the "normal" students actually responsible? (c) Where are the tools suitable for routine screening use? končně and (d) What is the validity (especially predictive) and reliability of existing procedures? (also in terms of the so-called evidence-based approach)? |
