Description | The chapter deals with the topic of transnational cooperation of right-wing and national populist parties in Europe. Common themes that have a potential to join them are discussed as well as limits for cooperation, based on empirical findings. The chapter brings history of groups in the European Parliament and European political parties as the examples of mainly unsuccessful attempts to cooperate. Special attention is paid to the topic of Islamophobia that is becoming glue for right-wing and national populist parties to create common European platform. |
