Description | Mental hygiene was a broad-based efforts to quality healthy life, used knowledge from different disciplines and experience and wisdom of everyday life. Mental health is often defined as an effort to maintain or regain mental health, although at present a holistic approach to health, working more with the psychological resources that monitors the health and quality of life. Health psychology was established in psychology as a discipline that uses knowledge of scientific disciplines which study the psychological impact on human health, such as behavioral medicine, psychosomatic, etc. At present, health psychology is a progressive and modern psychological discipline which has its current theoretical and practical tasks, own research and multilaterally beneficial communication with other branches of science. The content and objectives of Mental hygiene and Health Psychology partly overlap, although both of them has different methodology, practical focus and tradition. |
