Description The book presents relatively new phenomenon that is currently being given a lot of attention in media, academia and by schools. The reader is provided with an insight into topics related to cyberbullying and online harassment, such as aggression, traditional (school) bullying and how is this form of online bullying formed by online environment itself. The authors also discuss prevalence of cyberbullying in Czech and international contexts and the portrayal of cyberbullying in nowadays media. The social dynamic of cyberbullying and traditional bullying is described on the level of victims, aggressors and bystanders, as well as possible impact of cyberbullying on its victims and coping strategies they employ. The final part of the book focuses on possible prevention and intervention strategies on the individual, family as well as institutional levels.
