| Description | Results of genetic, anthropological and archaeological research contibute new evidence for the African concept of modern human origin. Between 90-60 ky, anatomically modern population expanded by the "southern" route, still within the tropic/subtropic zone, and between 50-40 ky this population entered Eurasia by the "northern" route, into areas influenced by glacial climates and occupied by the Neandertals. Within this new climatic, geographic and social context, modern humans created the symbolic art. |
