Description | Renewable energy sources bring new challenges to power con- sumption planning on all levels (household, city or region). In this paper, we present a smart household appliance-level scheduling system, called PAX. We describe the details of the PAX scheduling core and its us- age for optimizing an appliance power consumption profile according to actual power source regime. The PAX system is tested on data sets from a one year measurements of household appliances and renewable power sources, which are described in detail in the text. These data form a basis for the PAX exploitation in both simulated power system modeling and real-world power consump- tion scheduling. |
