Description | The main objective of the study was to trace the long-term trends in the success of pupils in solving problems in recognizing shrubs and trees and in recognizing topographical and turist signs. The aim was also to trace the relationship between the success of the various categories of pupils. The results are taken for six age-categories of pupils within the years 2008-2013. It was found that the success of pupils in solving the same tasks increases with increasing age of the competitors. The success in recognizing shrubs and trees is considerably smaller than success in recognizing topographical and turist signs. Moreover, it has been found that the average number of errors of all categories of pupils in recognizing shrubs and trees has been growing gradually during 2008-2013. Furthermore, it was found that the results of girls are slightly better results than boys for both recognizing tasks. |
