| Description | The study in innovative manner analyzed the role of representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church. Unlike the traditional concept of Russian historiography, does not consider the Religious Leaders as loyal partner of the Representatives of secular Power. The study shows that the goal of the metropolitans was to built a strong and independent Russian Orthodox Church. |
