Description | The primary aim of the study was to examine the relationship between children’s intellectual giftedness and their readiness to ask questions, in order to make a contribution to the present theory of giftedness and information behaviour by pointing at potential associations between the number and types of questions asked by children and the children’s level of giftedness, creative thought, and creativity in general. The research combined quantitative and qualitative design to address the relationship between readiness to ask questions and children’s intelligence and creativity. The sample included both exceptionally gifted and intellectually average children attending early grades of school. Age and gender differences were also explored in the study. |
