| Description | The paper compares the results of two researches focusing on music preferences of university student listeners regarding to their music education. The first one was carried out by the Music Education Department at Masaryk University in Brno in 2012 in the Czech Republic, the second one a year later in European Union countries. Three categories, music preference and tolerance of music genres and styles and the ability to identify them, were considered. |
