| Description | Project management information system of Masaryk University (MU) supports a complete project life cycle from submitting through investigation to sustainability. The system supports submitting project proposals in a unified form, formal approval of the proposals at MU, and recording the approval results and acceptance on the investors' side. Accepted proposals are transferred into the register of running projects, integrated with the University economic, HR and other information systems. During project investigation, it is possible to monitor project costs (in total as well as in detail), plan expenditures in relation to the budget, monitor the project bank account state, fill in project time sheets (allowing to generate specific reports according to the investor's rules), and monitor the results of external or internal inspections. Both project proposal register and running project register record structured project documentation. Specialized departments at MU faculties and other organizational units have available tools to control outputs, inspections, notifications. Basic information about accepted projects (including the past ones) is being published on the MU public website.
