Description | The Houses of the Dead imitate the existing housing units. This study focuses on reliably documented type of these constructions in moravian sites of Corded Ware Culture, Bell Beaker Culture and Aunjetitz Culture. In these tombs are male funerals aged 25-50 years, which may suggest their higher social status (warrior, chieftain). The study summarizes the current knowledge about the burial rite connected with houses of the Dead in Moravia. |
