Description | Physical activity of people is becoming a significant factor in considering the level of healthy and active lifestyle, quality of life and health. Low physical activity and sedentary lifestyle cause many healthy problems in every age which is the most frequent cause of chronical problems with health. In our article, we are trying to analyse motivation to physical activities of women of two age groups and we compare their stance to healthy lifestyle. According to Charvát (2002) motivation plays an important role for activity of an individual and the aim of motivation is a “completing reaction” or satisfaction of this need. Women in mid-age look for physical activities to compensate lack of physical load and due to the fact that they often need to improve their physical appearance, reduce their weight, increase their fitness and use their free time. University students are a specific group which faces intensive psychological load during their studies, which they lay increase claims in personality of student and in change condition of work fillings often and organisation of free time. In this age category, motivation to physical activities manifests itself as a need to spend free time with friends and relax from everyday study obligations. This research was based on a questionnaire of physical activities. Comparisons were made for 200 women between 30 and 45 of age and 70 students between 19 and 25 of age. |
