| Description | This work is aimed to provide basic information on history and development of kayak freestyle up to the present day. There did not exist any literature dealing with this theme on such a scale in the Czech Republic like our work. We succeeded in describing freestyle as a sport, we covered its development in the world and the Czech Republic as well and we recorded the best results of Czech competitors. We dealt with the contribution and comparison of freestyle to other water sports. The work includes information processed from available sources and personal practical experience. It is a a theoretical work with the character of a development study. It has brought a new knowledge and information in the field of water sports and new sport disciplines as well as it helps to deepen understanding of this sport. Thus it can serve as a comprehensive source of information about freestyle on white water. |
