| Description | The paper analyses ways the Elative of Czech adjectives is expressed; the system is then confronted with Russian language. In order to determine the equivalents of Czech Elative expressions the author exploited the linguistic material taken from lexicographic sources, normative grammars and he, too, excerpted the Czech belletristic pieces, which have the the Russian translations. |
