Description | Liability relations arising in the field of Czech environmental law can have either public or private law character. They can be devided into four different types of liability which creates a coherent legal system: a) administrative law liability, b) criminal law liability, c) civil law liability, d) ecological damage liability as a special type of environmental liability. During 2011-2013, a project called „Liability in environmental law – current state and perspectives“ took place with financial support provided by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic. In this contribution, the findings of this research are summarized and some important aspects of environmental liability are highlighted from the environmental law perspectives. |
