Description | Nanotechnology and nanomaterials increasingly intervene in the life of an ordinary person. These belong to the technology and materials with the promise of high versatility. But, their action and effects on living organisms are still not fully understood. For this reason, nanotechnology exhibits an extreme surge of interest in the field of research of numerous scientific institution. The objects of interest of the presented in vitro research are metallic nanoparticles and their effect on human tumor cell lines. We studied viability of A375 tumor cell lines during their cultivation in an environment of silver nanoparticles <100 nm and current application of ultrasonic field with intensity of 1 W-cm-2. The outcomes from experiment show decreasing of viability of human tumor cell after exposing of ultrasound and nanoparticles separately, the maximal decreasing of cell viability was documented for combined treatment when ultrasound and nanoparticles were applied at the same time. |
