Description | The preparation of students for their ESP classes may show to be inadequate or insufficient. Sometimes they overuse "paste & copy" approach, or they produce or a piece of text which does not correspond to the instructions. The paper presents several activities which enhance students' efforts and thus their language practice. The mentioned tasks concern productive tasks with the elements of individualized or collaborative approach. The tasks involve preparing slides, audio recording and writing into discussion forums. The main differences compared to the task used previously lie in enlarging the audience of potential readers and wider possibilities of feedback. In general, the new tasks showed to be more personalised and engaging. |
