Description | In my opinion, the debate about the morality is always on the spot and most useful. Although often it’s result is only wandering in the intellectual circle. The truth is that sooner or later you start to ask yourself what is really wrong. What to do and for who? Many well-known thinkers expressed themselves in this topic but one is not much wiser, then. In the area of practical morality it seems that the psychologist Barry Schwartz - studying the correct behavior on the border of economics and psychology - he hit the nail on the head. In his inspiring lecture he talks about the practical wisdom which, it seems, in many situations, was displaced by ossified and dysfunctional system of rules and incentives. In this article I will try to approach this essentially psychological model, which has a strong response not only in the contemporary Czech society. |
