| Description | The book of abstracts is a supplementary material for the 6th Brno Conference on Linguistics Studies in English, organised by the Department of English Language and Literature of the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno on 11-12 September 2014 under the title “Communication across genres and discourses”. The book of abstracts includes over five dozen abstracts of papers presented by participants in the international conference, focusing on various aspects of communication in relation to genre analysis, discourse analysis (dealing with academic, professional, political, learner, fictional, etc. discourses), pragmatics, stylistics, semantics, phraseology, syntax, translation and other linguistic disciplines. |
