| Description | Open access to scientific research results ("Open Access") is a new trend in academic publishing. Currently, it is estimated that over 1.2 million scientific articles are available to the public under some of the Creative Commons licenses. This article offers an analysis of the fundamental issues of this alternative to commercial publishing , as well as the of the related issues regarding public licenses. |
