Description | Conference lecture. Graphing skills belong to key components of scientific literacy nowadays. This is why students should be encouraged to master this complex of skills. Graphing skills are influenced mainly by the appearance of the graph, experience and knowledge of the student and the context in which the graph is used. Therefore, graphing skills should be taught not only within mathematics but also in other subjects. The aim of this work was to test the level of chosen graphing skills in chemical context with Czech pupils at the end of lower secondary school and at the end of upper secondary school chemistry education and, at the same time, to compare average test results and the results of gifted students. |
