Description | Learning analytics is an emerging research discipline that in recent years has drawn the more and more attention of researchers. It is seen as a significant research area of technology-enhanced learning, that can have big impact on the use of technology in educational settings in the near future. The aim of the paper is to present the main directions of research in the field of learning analytics and educational data analytics in general. In addition to presentation of various theoretical approaches the paper will also discuss the results of several international surveys that have been in the field of learning analytics realized. |
