| Description | Chapter introduces the basic principles of ARDS. From the introduction to a brief history the chapter focuses on the epidemiology and pathophysiology of this syndrome. After describing the clinical signs and detailed diagnosis is discussed therapy of diseases. This includes not only the basic use of a practical set of mechanical ventilation, as well as pharmacotherapy. The conclusion is devoted mainly to the prognosis and quality of patients after ARDS. |
