| Description | There is a long-term decreasing incidence and number of deaths from stroke in the Czech Republic. Hypertension is the leading risk factor. In primary and secondary prevention the treatment of hypertension reduces the risk of and recurrence of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. The once daily fixed-dose combination drug treatment is recommended. There are currently few data on the treatment of hypertension in acute stroke. |
