| Description | The paper offer an analysis of two speeches of Stephen Hawking in favor of legalization of euthanasia (2013, 2014). It examines construction of Hawking’s identity as so-called experimental expert, whose backing legalization of euthanasia can be considered as variant of argument from authority. Choice of different Hawking’s identities and particular micro-stories depicting his experience is considered as case of so-called strategic maneuvering, which strengthens acceptability of his statements. |
