Description | The paper examines, utilizing a mixed experimental design, the role of priming in the phenomenon of adoption of foreign features into one's first language in sequential bilinguals. More specifically, it investigates whether listening to an L1 text with L2 long-lag voice onset times in phoneme /p/ induces the subsequent L1 production with the said L2 phoneme variant. This hypothesis, however, was not confirmed. |
