Description | Global climate change stands behind the risk of more frequent and intense natural disasters, which take human lives and cause significant economic damage. States prepare and implement measures to protect their citizens against disasters (DRR) and to adapt to climate change (CCA), which are in many ways interconnected. For the national concepts to be functioning and effective, it is necessary to integrate DRR and CCA and to manage the issue comprehensively at all levels – including education. |
