Description | The aim of this work was to investigate an effect of atmospheric pressure plasma treatment on polyamide-12 (PA-12) adhesive properties. Two types of atmospheric pressure plasma sources, Diffuse Coplanar Surface Barrier Discharge (DCSBD) operated in an ambient air and industrial corona were used in order to modify PA-12 surface properties. The samples were characterized using surface energy measurement, peel strength measurement and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The surface morphology was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
