| Description | This monograph describes the theoretical foundation for issues of Physical education and Health education and also offers research results recently realized by author's home departments (Charles University Prague, Masaryk University Brno) using standard research methodology. The importance of the educational area "Human and Health" is increasing in the current world considering growing hypo kinesis, overweight and obesity on one hand and eating disorders on the other hand, civilization diseases and unhealthy habits leading to various addictions. The new framework educational programs offer a new educational field to eliminate some unwanted phenomena and to contribute to prevention of undesirable behavior. Focus on this kind of education is socially necessary. However the schools are not prepared for it in many directions (lack of educated specialists for health education, teaching materials, conditions for education, support by school management and school founders, etc.). |
