Description | Anorexia nervosa is a primary psychiatric disorder with very serious somatic consequences Our study showed the need for monitoring of metabolic parameters in anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. It is necessary to assess the patient's condition and its treatment not only according to the increase in body weight, which can often be very confusing (especially in patients with bulimia nervosa), but also monitoring the metabolic state, which is one of the prerequisites for a successful therapy. |
