| Description | Recommended method of treatment for hypertrophy of the palatine tonsils with symptoms of OSAS is a tonsillectomy. The goal is to prove that a comparable and adequate method of treatment of OSAS in childhood is a tonsillotomy. Tonsillotomy eliminated the apnea pauses, snoring and other symptoms of OSAS. There are no more frequent recurrence of hypertrophy of the tonsils and does not increase the number of tonsillitis after surgery. |
