Description | Childhood Obesity is a predictor of obesity in adulthood, which carries the risk of kardiometabolic complications. The most common cause of obesity are diet and lack of physical activities. Children live in obesity environment. Obesity Prevalence among 6-9 years old children in 12 European states in 2008 is 19,3 – 49,0% in boys group and 18,4 – 42,5% in girls group. Causes of childhood obesity can be divided into two groups – internal and external. Internal causes are genetics, deseases, psychological, prennatals. External causes are diet, environmetal conditions, socioceconomical conditions. Reduce the risk of obesity in childhood may though changes in lifestyle of the whole family. |
