| Description | Submitted teaching material is primarily intended for the students of bachelor´s study programme Physical education and sport (specialization Animator of physical activities, Coaching, Special education of security bodies). The first part focuses on modern skiing technique – carving (its history, types of carving, carving curve training). Material is accompanied by short videos with instructions, photos and pictures. The text also focuses on safety and safe behaviour on the ski slopes. The readers learn about the rules dealing with the behaviour of the skiers on the ski slopes (“White Code“) created by International Ski Federation FIS. |
