Description | STAT3 is very important transcription factor, which induces some processes essential for cells as proliferation, survival or self-renewal, however there is the evidence, that STAT3 plays crucial role in the tumor development, because mediates angiogenesis or invasion to other places in the organism. For correct biologial function, STAT3 must be phosphorylated by Janus kinase and create dimers, which can translocate to the nucleus of the cell. The translocation of pSTAT3 may induced transcriptional changes. |
